There are four types of training provider:
A National Provider is a training provider that is able to offer apprenticeship training in any location across England. Some national providers might also offer training in the devolved nations, i.e. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
An FE college is a state-funded provider that can offer a broad range of training options in a particular location to a range of employers.
A Specialist Provider is a training provider that is not state-funded and tends to offer training in specialist sectors or locations.
Universities offer training for Degree Apprenticeships or Higher Apprenticeships, sometimes running specialist courses for apprentices on a particular standard.
Montebello Training Ltd in Liverpool was established in June 2015 and has held the Matrix Standard since October 2015. We specialise in apprenticeship Hairdressing Professional at Level 2 and 3 and have an extremely high EPA pass rate due to our highly skilled staff. We are accredited through the awarding body VTCT. Our premises are spread across 3 floors and include a large ground-floor training salon with ground floor access to a disabled toilet, a small classroom on the 1st floor, a canteen stocked with healthy snacks for all to access and the Managing Directors office, a large classroom on the 2nd floor, an admin office, a private room for speaking to students including space for medical issues or used as prayer room.
