Provider Reviews & Ratings

Real feedback from employers and apprentices working with UK training providers

“

Ginger Nut Training

“We've had a long and successful relationship with Ginger Nut. They provide a very responsive, friendly and engaging service. We've had the same account manager over the whole 8 years we've been using them and that is exceptional. Our learners experience very few issues with the training and where things have not gone to plan, Ginger Nut have been very good at taking ownership and resolving problems quickly.”

“

The Growth Company

“We have worked with The Growth Company since 2018 and have had over 20 apprentices complete their education with them. Although there have been some challenges over the years, our current account manager, Paul, has been fantastic—always attentive, responsive, and proactive in resolving any issues quickly and professionally. From our perspective as an employer, The Growth Company has proven to be a valuable partner in developing grassroots talent, particularly in the engineering sector. The apprentices we’ve supported through their programmes have consistently demonstrated strong progress, with many going on to achieve internal promotions and take on more responsibility within the business. For learners, the experience has been transformative. They’ve gained not only the technical knowledge required for their roles but also the confidence and workplace skills necessary for long-term career growth. Overall, the return on investment has been clear. We’ve built a pipeline of skilled, motivated individuals who contribute meaningfully to the organisation, and we view our partnership with The Growth Company as a key part of our talent strategy.”

Common questions

Quick answers on finding and comparing UK apprenticeship training providers.

How do I find an apprenticeship training provider?

Search by apprenticeship standard, sector or location. Each provider page shows achievement rate, employer and apprentice scores, regions covered and recent reviews so you can shortlist quickly. Once you've picked a provider you can request a free introduction directly from their profile.

How do I compare apprenticeship training providers?

Compare side-by-side on achievement rate (the % of apprentices who complete successfully), employer satisfaction score, apprentice satisfaction score, learner reviews, standards delivered and regions covered. Headline numbers come from public ESFA data so they're directly comparable.

What is an apprenticeship training provider?

An apprenticeship training provider is a registered organisation approved by ESFA and listed on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (APAR) to deliver off-the-job training to your apprentices alongside their job.

How do I know a training provider is reliable?

Check their published achievement rate (anything above 65% is solid, above 75% is excellent), recent Ofsted rating, employer and apprentice satisfaction scores, and read at least three recent learner reviews. Watch out for providers with a high learner volume but a steeply declining achievement rate.

Is it free to get introductions through FATP?

Yes. We never charge employers or apprentices to use the directory or to request an introduction. Providers can claim and upgrade their profile if they want enhanced placement, but the search and introduction flow stays free for everyone using it to find training.
