Workforce Training & Development

Workforce Training & Development (WTD) is a RoATP‑approved training provider delivering apprenticeships and vocational qualifications for employers and learners across multiple sectors. Originally established in the food industry with a specialism in the meat and poultry sector, WTD now also offers apprenticeships in business, digital, logistics, and housing and property. Programmes range from Level 2 to Level 5 and include standards such as Team Leader, Operations Manager, Butcher, Advanced Butcher and Food and Drink Technical Operator, alongside sector‑specific pathways for other industries. WTD tailors programmes to each employer’s operational context and learner needs, using apprenticeship standards and qualifications as a framework while customising content around customer processes. In addition to apprenticeships, WTD provides Advanced Learner Loan‑funded qualifications from Level 3 to Level 5, including diplomas in administrative operations and management and leadership. Training is delivered by tutors and trainers with extensive industry experience, particularly in food production and butchery, and is supported by a structured process focused on individualised learning plans, industry‑expert teaching, real‑world application and ongoing support.
