About
North Hertfordshire College
North Hertfordshire College (NHC) is a further education college offering a broad range of vocational, academic and professional programmes for school leavers and adults, with provision that includes T Levels, degree-level study, part‑time adult courses and apprenticeships. The college works in partnership with employers to shape its teaching and create real-life work experience, with facilities designed to replicate modern workplaces and support learners in becoming work‑ready. Apprenticeship training for NHC learners and employers is delivered by Hart Learning & Development, based at the college’s Stevenage campus. Through this partnership, apprenticeships are available across clinical and social care, professional services, leadership and management, education, construction and motor vehicle, as well as areas such as business administration, HR, management training and health and social care. Apprentices are employed and paid while they train, combining on‑the‑job experience with tutor support and study towards nationally recognised qualifications. NHC also provides a Student Wellbeing Team and wider personal development and careers support to help apprentices and students address issues such as mental health, finance and learning support and to plan their next steps into work or further study.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
