Gower College Swansea is a large further education college that is one of Wales’ leading apprenticeship providers, delivering a wide range of award-winning programmes in both Wales and England. The College offers more than 80 apprenticeship routes from Level 2 up to degree-level apprenticeships, in areas such as leadership and management, digital, carpentry, construction, engineering, health and social care, electrical, customer service, facilities management and housing. Apprenticeships are open to people of any age who are employed for at least 16 hours per week and allow learners to earn while they gain industry-recognised qualifications and real workplace experience, supported by tutors with substantial industry backgrounds. For employers, Gower College Swansea provides tailored apprenticeship training aligned to business needs, with dedicated staff based in England for levy-paying organisations and the ability to draw on Welsh Government funding for eligible learners in Wales. Alongside apprenticeships, the College delivers extensive full-time and part-time provision including A Levels, vocational courses, higher education, adult and professional programmes, as well as sector-specific upskilling and workforce development offers such as “Skills for the Workplace”.
